A striking Danish mid-century ceramic table lamp designed by Arne Finne Nielsen and produced by Soholm, Denmark, during the 1960s–1970s.
The lamp features a beautifully sculptural glazed ceramic base with an expressive geometric decoration in rich shades of blue, warm ochre and natural terracotta, characteristic of the distinctive Danish studio-ceramic aesthetic of the period.
The rounded, organic form is beautifully contrasted by the graphic patterning, giving the piece a strong yet elegant presence.
The lamp is signed and retains its original model number 3077-3, adding to its authenticity and collectability. An exceptional example of Danish mid-century ceramic lighting, combining sculptural form, hand-finished decoration and functional design.
A particularly attractive piece for collectors of Scandinavian ceramics and vintage Danish lighting, and equally suited to contemporary, minimalist or eclectic interiors.
