Early 19th c. French gilt bronze and crystal chandelier in the style of Louis XV

A wonderful French chandelier with 8 lights in the style of Louis XV. 
 Gilt bronze frame embellished with flower rosettes. 'Cage' form.
On the 'cage' arms there are crystal poignards.
Central is an extra poignard.
The chandelier is richly festooned with clear and soft coloured crystal pendeloques and decorative vases.
Below the chandelier hangs beautiful large ball.
